Hi I’ve recently had a private c peptide and the result was low at 448 what would this mean many thanks I’m on tressiba and novo rapid and carb count for meals ,I’ve been diagnosed from type2 type 1and Lada Needless to say confused many thanks Tizzy

You need to consult with a diabetes specialist. Was your c-peptide taken with a fasting blood test? From the magnitude of your results, the units look like pmol/L. In general, a fasting c-peptide greater than 225 is usually associated with type 2.

However, have a look at the units and reference range given with your result from the lab.

Units would be helpful as there are I believe a few ways that C-pep is reported.
