calories

Ooh, now that's a question and a half isn't it? I honestly don't know, however it does appear to be very low on carbs and, for us diabetics, that's the most important thing. Mind you, the slice of bread should be of the wholemeal variety, and only one mind you!

Bacon - Cal 462 kcal - Carbs Zero
Eggs - Cal 186 kcal - Carbs 1.2g
Tomatoes - (assumed Cherry) - Cal 41.3 kcal - Carbs 6.13g
Bread - Cal 32.5 kcal - Carbs 5.65g

So funnily enough, the Tomatoes have a bigger calorie load than the bread (albeit half a slice).
Total calories 721.8 and carbs 12.98g

If you substituted Fried mushrooms for the tomatoes, then you'd knock 6.13g off the carb figure (halving it) and only add about 22 kcals.

Hi Swimmer2

Are you sure about that figure for bacon it seems rather high to me? My book says 40 cals a rasher for grilled back bacon or 27 cals a rasher for streaky.
