I came off ramipril and statins. Cant remember why gp took me off ramipril.. But it definitely go choice, not my suggestion. I came off statins as I had side effects from all of them.. It was my decision totally to come off statins.. And all hcp's since have not suggested I retry. I had tried every one of the different types...

I was also given various drugs for fibromyalgia too, but had too many side effects from them too.

So, I literally take insulin, type 1 since 1986, no complications so far. Aged 49.

Hi. Your blood pressure readings are quite low. Is there any reason you are on Ramipril and could the dose be reduced or stopped now? I've been reducing my statin (Simvastatin) and interestingly my cholesterol readings haven't gone up from 3.7 so it's worth checking whether the drugs you are taking are really necessary or working.

Thnx Daibell you now made me realise why ramipril was stopped for me.... My blood pressurewas really, really low. Even now without it.. Mine is still low. Now I know.. Thnx...

My top balue used to be anywhere from 90-100.. Off ramipril at least 7 years and still max of 110. Bottom value like yours... Anywhere from 60-70 normally.. That continues without ramipril..
