Can I work as a breakdown patrol with T1?

Hello,

Will the major breakdown services in the UK employ a T1 as a roadside patrol? I've got a 3 year licence, have good control and don't feel disabled. But will they be scared by me being T1 as a driver and lone worker/shift worker?
 
Hello and welcome @LearningtoFly1977 I don't see any reason why you can't be considered, they shouldn't discriminate against you for it either, I'd go for it if that's what you would love to do.
 
thanks for the welcome Juicyj! I'm just not sure if diabetes will be seen as something that could stop me from carrying out the job. Obviously I think I can do it, but will my employer?
If anyone has any experience of working as a patrolman/woman I'd love to hear it.
