Debandez - Are you using the App? If you are using the app, that would explain it. Signatures are not displayed in the App, only using your device browser.

I can see them on my iPad, but not straight away on my iPhone. What are you viewing the forum on? On my iPhone I have to click on the persons name, then profile page, then information. It’s a bit of a faff :banghead:
That’s via Safari, I don’t get on with the app at all!

Ive been using browser from my mobile phone. Ive just hopped onto my ipad and i can now see signatures so thanks for your help.

I use the Chrome browser on my Android phone and I cannot see the sigs either. It is really not a problem to me as it keeps the threads shorter to read.
I have found out tgat by using my iPad I can see them so I have a choice now! Thank you.

@DCUKMod: I use Firefox on my PC. I used to be able to see signatures as an integral part of a post without any problem, but after a previous update, I think it was ome where we were given a colour choice. I've not been able to do so, regardless of the fact that i have the option set in my profile to be able to view them. This is also the case with Internet Explorer.

However I recently discovered that this issue may possibly be related to my browser font/display size: if I have this adjusted (via ctrl + or -) so that I can read the screen easily, I can't see any signatures. If I reduce font size enough then I can see a scrolled signature box. Other layout seems to be adjusted.

Now you see it:

Now you don't:

The displayed signature boxes were made scrollable some months ago, because some members chose to put a lot of data into their signatures, which then limited the number of posts that could be fitted onto a single web page. It was considered the posts would each be read, but not all signatures are read every time that person makes a post.

Everything is still there, it just isn't necessarily on view, without scrolling. Where the signature is long enough to require scrolling down the scrolling bar on the right hand side of the signature box is shaded darker.

The following snip was just taken from a fasting thread, with examples readily available (thanks @ianspurs and @Mbaker for contributing to my reply

Does that help at all Robbity? If not, then let me know

Just to clear up the confusion regarding seeing them on a phone - they don't display if the handset is in portrait mode, but do in landscape - I would imagine the website is configured to render differently depending on the available screen width in the browser which probably explains why they're visible on a tablet in portrait (I used your post as an example @Rachox sorry :))

No - iI'm not questioning the fact that it's scrollable, which is obviously a sensible compromise. My issue is, that at certain resolutions there's no signature visible/accessible at all in any shape or form either to see or scroll through, nor is there any scroll bar other than the one for the browser page itself. So, as screen shots in my prevuious post (were intended to) show I can have text size adjusted high enough to be able to read a post but have no access at all to signature details, or I can reduce it to the point where a scrollable signature is finally displayed but the size is then too small for me to be able to actually read anything.

So as far as I can see, browser and web page are not working together as they're supposed to do...:banghead:

Thanks for that feedback Robbity. I'll pass it on to the techies.
