Can you increase your insulin sensitivity to a good standard.

As a type 2, through diet and exercise can you increase your insulin sensitivity a lot better than before like someone without diabetes?
 
There is no short answer to this one. People can recover a measure of insulin sensitivity over time but in the face of a normal western diet? In my opinion, no.
 
Yes if you take it seriously enough, but if you think you can then go back to eating “normally” then you’ll be back where you started before long. No different to how you became diabetic in the first place, except it may take less time on the second attempt :D

Yeah I'm with Guzzler there, you can get back some insulin sensitivity hence why losing weight can slam it into remission but your diet couldn't at all be the same as it was before. You really don't want to yo-yo your control in the slightest and the standard diet will always pile back on resistance eventually.

Yeah of course I agree, if we went back to old diets it’s would be waste of time for sure
