Canagliflozin approved for more benefits. Side affects?

Never had a back/pelvis pain til canagliflozin tablets. My kidneys were healthy before any new meds and still are, even after an op and heavy painkillers.
 
Slightly off subject, this video (towards the end) talks about why we really shouldn't allow Medical Studies to be indirectly funded by 'Big Pharma' and Dietary studies to be funded by 'Big Food' just as we no longer allow 'independent studies' saying Tobacco is good to be funded by Tobacco companies ​

It also covers Dieting, Fasting, Bariatric Surgery, Obesity, Type 2 Diabetes, Coronary Vascular Disease, building better bones and muscles etc.​

The risk of Fourniers Gangrene would stop me in my tracks if I was ever in a position whereby a medic suggested an SGLT2 inhibitor.
