Hi,
Seen posts in various places for Carb Blockers.
Have you used these? Do they do what they claim? Any side effects?

Thanks

Carb blockers............you would have to be pretty bonkers to think something like that was anything other than a con !!!!

Can I make a strong request that people don't post any links directly to Carb Blocker websites on this thread?

We have had issues in the past where people have clicked on such links and risked all sorts of problems - malware, viruses, popups, etc.

@Stronger
I don't want to rain on your parade completely. I have no personal experience of Carb Blockers, so I cannot state categorically that they are a con. However, from what I have seen, anything that promises incredible success with no effort, allows you to eat whatever you like and not change your lifestyle, is too good to be true.

Doesn't matter if the promise is financial, dietary, cosmetic, or whatever, the principle remains the same. Too good to be true is, unfortunately, too good to be true. :(

Hi @Brunneria ..
I don't know if the link that I posted above falls into the category you describe (I don't think it does) but I posted it just a few seconds before your post .. please delete my post if you see it as a problem.
(BTW: I do agree with you about spurious commercial links)

I was sent some by an online chemist ages ago. They are made up of white kidney bean extract and konjac.
All I can say is, they are not harmful, but as for doing any good, the scientific instrument to measure that is not yet available

@AM1874
Worry not! Authoritynutrition is a site I link to myself, quite often, and I have never known it cause problems.

I was thinking more about those sales sites where they hand you the spiel, and offer to sell you the product, and then when you try to close the window you get popups and more adverts, and so on.

:)

OK .. thanks

Thanks all. Sounds like they are not worth using. They keep popping up in ads every now and then for me. I wasn't believing all the sales pitch, but wondered if they helped. I won't bother getting any.

I used HealthAid CoffeeSlim and they are good.

If carb blockers were scientifically proven to work they would be classified as a drug and controlled accordingly. Triumph of hope over common sense?? Would be amazing if such a thing actually existed!!
