Hiya guys,
It was suggested I come talk to you all for some advice. I was diagnosed with 2 autoimmune diseases when I was 11, diabetes type 1 and something called ulcerative colitis which affects my digestive system. Long story short Ive had surgery to remove my colon (large bowel). I have struggled to get my insulin dosages right since, and my carb counting is hit and miss, I think my rate of food absorption varies day by day but I have no way of proving this or working out how to adjust my dosages correctly. I have to chose between having my sugars run at a higher level or to continually have hypos. Is anyone on here in a similar situation or know anyone who is like me? I could really do with some suggestions. TIA
