Hi @clarey123 I use Carb and Cals on my phone - as a phone app it works well as you get images of food which help you calculate the carb content - also can be bought as a book.

MyFitnessPal is excellent and works on lap top, and mobile devices

Definitely recommend Carb & Cals. I use the android app and the book. It's so easy because of the pictures, enables you to make quick estimate if need be, or can quickly do calculation for exact amount. The book is not expensive but well worth it, not sure if I paid for app.

Know-it-all's! Soaps, reality tv, DVLA (they revoked my hgv licence and refuse to re-instate it!)
Can anyone recommend a good carb counting book?
I use Carbs and Cals by Chris Cheyette and Yello Balolia.
I got it from Amazon, and it cost about £16 inc p&p

Yep, Carbs and Cals in book form and as an app on my phone to which you can add your own meals by way of photos and adding the carb details.

Liquorice and aniseed (especially the tracer I have to drink in hospital before a CT scan - yuk!)
There's also the 'Carbs and cals pocket counter' book, which has fewer pages/photos, but it's pocket sized, so it's very handy for when you're eating out.
