Something I forgot to ask on here after my diagnosis of type 2 diabetes, I was recommended the carbs and calories book by the nurse, I have been reading the reviews, and as others say there's issues, doesn't mention sugar content etc or ounces or grams, I was going to purchase it but is it worth my money? Any thoughts?

Why did the nurse recommend it? What is it supposed to help with?

Many of us here just restrict carbs and find that takes care of weight issues, so the calories are OK so long as the carbs are.
Lots of people (not just diabetic) have what might be termed carb addiction, in which case the book 'Fork in the Road' may be of assistance. It's by Dr Jen Unwin the psychologist wife of Dr David Unwin (LowCarb GP himself).
