Carbs and weight loss..

For people with a "normal" metabolism maybe their body can handle that carb load (although I seriously doubt its "good" for them). For someone with Type 2 that advice is complete cobblers.
 
For me, eating a carb heavy meal at night (whatever colour they are or whether they are 'smart' simple or complex) leads to poor sleep and general fatigue the following day. As many people with T2 report post meal fatigue before bg is improved this nutritionists advice is counter intuitive for us.
