. Honestly, I really really had forgotten! Wish you lot could see my face now, I'm glowing with embarrassment! A few months ago I had to give my medical history at a gynae appointment and after the initial low down on opps etc we were going through my meds and the consultant asked why I was on atenolol, ramipril and aspirin etc..... then I realised I'd forgotten to tell him I'd had a heart attack and subsequent surgical intervention in 2000
.... I thought he was going to choke, lol. I tend to live one day at a time. Maybe not always the best way to get though this life but.....

Decided to start the new year with some low carb eating, with increased fat....well afraid it's not for me the pounds just piled back on, it's back to being a medium carb diet eating a bit of everything and back to low fat....it was working before need to get back in control now...just sharing that we are all so different in relation to the way our diet body and weight loss works, best wishes all Kat x
Yes it's the berry and mixed fruit one, a pack of four and very veggie friendly xLow fat yogurt ww = is that weight watchers? I don't think they do a veggie yogurt. The Fage Greek yogurt 0% is great if you are cutting fat and tastes just like the full fat I reckon. All the best to you, Kat![]()

Hi Kat, I don't have a gall bladder either so can't tolerate high fat. I'm gradually working on a diet which is low fat and carbs of between 100g and 150g. There is such a lot to learn! But my weight is reducing by about a kilo a week which is important, and my bg levels are mostly between 5+ and under 7.
Hi my bg is 6.1 one yeR ago it was 18 so I am very please with my readings
Thank you so much cc it is very kind of you to consider my post at value, in fact I have received a few pm from people who also do not low carb for many different reasons, it was really nice they sent those messages....shame we can't all feel able to share our own different ways of coping with our diet and what works for us as individuals....my post was not about rugby!!!!!Hi Kat,
Shame your OP has been highjacked as it contains an important message for newbies.
You have to find a way of controlling your diabetes. Others can advise and some can even say that there is only one way. There is actually only one way, a way that suits you. We can argue about levels of carbs until the cows come home but who is right? Answer is that everyone who controls their diabetes with varying amounts of carbs, fat, fibre and protein is right.
Well done on getting back on track. Keep us informed on how things are going.
CC.
