Hi,
Looking in the 'Carbs, Calories, Protein and Fat Pocket Counter' booklet (Cheyette & Balolia);

Slice of brown bread:
- medium - 36g = 15 carbs
- thick - 49g = 21 carbs

Slice of white bread:
- medium - 33g - 15 carbs
- thick - 43g - 20 carbs

French fries - 160g - 54 carbs
Burger - beef with cheese - 168g - 45 carbs
Diet Coke - written on can - 0 carbs

There are lots of websites - just Google 'carb count of ...........' (American ones include fibre - someone will hopefully come along and give the calculation for working out those).

Virtually no difference in carbs or how they affect bg levels between white and wholemeal bread in the UK. Wholemeal generally has a much higher fibre content.

Some but not all wholegrain and multigrain breads have less effect on bg levels than white or wholemeal although there is often not much difference in % of carbs.

I have no idea about breads available in Thailand though. Sorry :(

All McDonald's restaurants in the UK have the nutritional value of the food on leaflets, I can't imagine Thailand it would be any different though you may need someone to read it if you don't speak the lingo.
