Carbs

So what are these for and hope often should I test with these?
Those are ketone test strips. If your machine will do it, you can check for the presence of ketones in blood. I have never used them, although my glucometer is compatible. The ketone strips are (iirc) more expensive than the blood glucose ones.

I've always found that the pee strips are good enough for my T2 purposes: they'll show whether there's none/ a bit / a fair amount / and a lot clearly - I have never been bothered by the exact measurements. Bear in mind that some of the advice about testing for ketones in this thread is from people who are Type 1, not Type 2: DKA is a much greater risk for them. It's possible for T2s to get DKA, but according to the textbooks it's extremely rare.

you can download the data from the reader to a pc / laptop if you have one. https://pat.libreview.io/articles/meter-drivers reports etc then can access as your phone is too old. you could also try using xdrip+ or simular third party app if your phone isnt compatable with librelink.
No can't download any! I have an iPad and thought I would be able to but it's having none of it.

thats a shame maybe someone else has an actual computure or windows laptop that you could use and download a pdf report for you which you would be able to read on the ipad not sure why the pkg doesnt work for you. apple laptops are usually able to use: https://files.libreview.io/files/installers/mac/LibreViewDeviceDrivers.1.2.7.pkg didn't know ipad was not which is a shame.

windows 10/11 pc/laptop would be: https://files.libreview.io/files/installers/windows/LibreViewDeviceDrivers.3.3.7.exe

dont think theres any chrome version.
heres a youtube tutorial which may find handy.
