This is probably a daft question but...I looked at the carbs in frozen chips on my fitness pal. 25g worked out at 6 carbs, If I am low carbing is this OK to eat or should I be looking at lower or should I just avoid cos it is chips?

6g of carbs is pretty low but that's hardly any chips lol ! Diet is a very personal thing so it's your choice. A decent alternative though is sweet potato fries which are tasty and a bit better for you.

I don't like sweet potato unfortunately! it wasn't many chips but it gave the idea!

Have you tried celeriac chips? Just chop them into chips, drizzle olive oil over and bung them in the oven for half an hour. Only 2.3g carb per 100g. Almost like real chips and a good source of Vitamins K, C, phosphorous and fibre. Good for mash too.

Or do without, I would rather have a lot of what is nice (and good) than a diddy amount

I don't like celeriac either :(

The chips were a one off as we were going out and had to have a quick meal.

I low carb most of the time but I can get away with overdoing them from time to time without any real ill effects, I usually go back to light ketosis by the end of the following day. I am a sucker for kentucky fried chicken and chips which is basically a carb bomb, but I only do it once in a blue moon!
