It appears that carefix and the diabetes cure have been deleted from the forum. If anyone knows anything about why this content has been deleted, please post up here. I have emailed both moderators and temporarily suspended them whilst I try to work out what has happened here. Whatever anyone's personal impression of the 'cure' and carefix, the thread was interesting reading and I for one want to know what has happened to it. Admin :(

Seconded what Admin says! I don't follow the "cure" and I ama little skeptical about bits of it.....but at the same time, it is interesting, and if people are trying it, it is important to know if it succeeds?

Daniel,

I see that most spam mails arrive as new topics and are easy to get rid of because the topic can be deleted. However, Carefix's "Diabetes Cure" topic contained several spams that were posted as replies within the topic. Is it possible that, in trying to delete a spam reply, the topic was accidentally deleted instead of the reply?

Sue, I wasn't suggesting that you did!

Daniel,

Although we can't access the thread on this forum, all 9 pages are still viewable via the following link:

http://www.diabetic-life.com/newforum/t ... hichpage=7

Is there any way your IT guys could re-import it either from this link or from one of your system backups?

hi guys and girls,

Thanks for the link Dennis, I've cut and pasted all of carefixes posts so at the very worst I can post them in one massive sheet so the eager can get the information at the worst. It is very hard to figure out what is going on, as soon as I have I'll reinstate the moderators and we can continue as normal... a strange week on the forum for sure.

Regards,

Admin :)

You can also email Carefix direct maybe?

If you are really serious about your new project and your new website you ought to read every last single post on this forum as well as the old forum this will definitely give you a very good idea on how diabetics feel, you would take the time to read every exlamation mark and comma and in doing so you would also find Carefix' posts about The Cure and learn an swful lot about diabetes in the process, most doctors havent got a clue, in fact most people end up fighting a battle with her medical staff and educating the nurses and doctors instead of the other way round.
In the old forum Carefix is called John Midgley; as I said before, if you are honest and sincere re your wish on helping diabetics then start off by reading in here, no cheating you get some excellent insight along the way.

Regards

Karen

Yes I am really serious. I have already looked at other "cures" (low carb approaches in particular), all of which seem to have great benefits for some people.

This material from Carefix is new to me, but I have had a quick look and it is fascinating. I will get stuck in to the rest. Your own story is an eloquent testimony to what can happen when people commit themselves to something based on their own experience rather than the stuff traditionally trotted out by the medical profession, a lot of which I have realised a long time ago is complete nonsense.

My website will draw together as much information as possible with the very clear aim of helping people with diabetes improve their health and their lives.

A tall order, but I will do my best!
