Cases for insulin pumps

I'm going on to the Accu-check insight pump on Wednesday 17th June, and I'm wondering what I should do about cases. This will be my first pump and I would like advice about how to carry it, what's comfortable and convenient, but also what isn't.

I really really like the belt I have... I would struggle if I didn't have it, so can wholeheartedly recommend getting one! :)

Personally I mostly wear mine in my bra, That's maybe not an option for you though...

The belts are good as @artemis said or people wear them on a clip attached to waist band of trousers, in pockets etc

I don't have any case. keep in the pocket or clip it on my bra or trousers. I don't think there is need for any cases. You can keep it in your pocket, and make a little hole inside your pocket for the tubing, if you don't like it to hang

Did you get the pants?! I got an email to say she'll send me a pair this week...! Woop!

@artemis whatttttttt!!! Noooooo!! I'd commented on the Facebook post yesterday and she said she would send emails this week... Am I pushy if I get onto her asking where my free pants are? Lol x

The Insight has a clip on clip that actually clips in to the actual pump... It doesn't actually need a case. The handset has a case but it isn't perfect as its too small but it is adequate.

Lol!! I don't mean I have them yet, just that she said she would send me a pair...!

-- she probably emailed me because I emailed her rather than FB...

Well I didn't wait for your response I emailed her practically crying that I want some pump pants... I'm guessing I've gone on the 'crazy people that don't get/deserve freebies' list I need to learn patience and to keep my mouth closed hahaha

Hi James,
I bought a mobile phone holder for the handset that was £1.99 and hangs round my neck and have pump in pocket and have always had since pumping for all them years of pumping.

But recently I have bought a bag for all my diabetic bits and bobs from Elite Bags on the Amazon website and keep handset sticks etc in there.
It was £24.72 .

My Accu Chek rep was surprised with the mobile phone holder she said it was far superior to the companies cases although they were having some new ones coming out soon.
