Cause for concern?

Moderators try to lead by example. I can only speak for myself when I say that I've written posts that never got sent because upon re-reading, they were innapropriate. This is something that didn't worry me so much before my moderator days, although I don't think l was ever being blatantly rude to anyone. As the moderator role has a fixed tenure, I will return to being my normal terse self in the not too distant future.

And volunteer to give our input to the forum @Fleegle . The input we individually choose to give.
I wouldnt want anyone feeling under durees to help me, for sure.
I prefer posters to be relaxed and happy......including mods.

I nowadays just wander in and wander out but must say since joining in 2009/10 information and conversations are a lot more varied now (in my opinion). Back in 2010 it was more "what colour skin should I have for my pump", now its "which pump should I choose"... as the world of diabetes evolves, so do our conversations.. but many of I can certainly remember some quite offensive posts in 1st days but nowadays in general conversations are tamed...

Like others, I have decided to leave on a number of times but just backed away quietly. Possibly the goodbye posts are perhaps needed for a reality check too. It would be no good if we all backed away quietly.. as then it would appear there are so many members and yet nobody here. Perhaps as in reality of life this should be seen as a reality check??

I am taking an indefinite break. Probably permanently. No need for anyone to comment on this post. I have my reasons, which I do not wish to share publicly. I am posting this as I want people to know that I have not been banned, I have chosen this for myself.
