Celebration cake ideas?

That cake looks awesome, thank you!

I haven't made it, it coincidentally came in a weekly update from her site today.

Another discovery today is www.foodgawker.com , which is a bit like foodie porn, a bit like Pinterest, but food focused and no need to join up to look. Foodgawker isn't a low carb site, but if you search, including low carb, it works pretty well, although our ideas of low carb aren't necessarily aligned to everyone else.

The only problem I had with the cheesy cake was other people using the knife they'd just buttered their crackers with for cutting the cheese. I was quite late going up to cut myself a slice.

Last time I ate 'real cake' was trying our wedding cake recently when I registered nearly 11 - ok, I tried quite a bit LOL - I think maybe a regular cake and just not eating much (if any) is the best route.

Thanks @Mongolia I love @ewelina blog and often make her lemon cake. But xylitol is poisonous to dogs so I won't risk using it for this cake :)

I would have thought that cake was pretty bad for dogs anyway so maybe suggest they don't give it to them? Just a thought.. even more for you then..!

Ha :) I wasn't suggesting we feed it to the dogs! More like if we have an accident, drop a bit and the dog woofs it up we are in trouble .....
