Type 1 and receive Freestyle Libre2 on Prescription but am struggling with inaccuracy and signal loss several times per day. It is possible to purchase a one off Libre3 to try? Do Dexcom sell their G6 and G7 for those wishing to trial their CGMs? Thanks

Dont know about libre, dexcom have a trial pack for g6 and g7 but it's not much cheaper than the standard price.

Have you considered using an app to calibrate your libre?

Tagging @Antje77 who does this.

I use DiaBox, which means I don't use the Libre2 alarms but rather the ones from DiaBox. And I love that you can calibrate.
It takes a bit of fiddling to get it to work but I wouldn't want to do without.
I still get all the Libre graphs and stuff.

To find out more about it and where to download (it's not in the playstore), you'd best join the Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/974278412920319

If you use iPhone, there are different apps you can use, I think @In Response has used an alternative app with iPhone.

Thanks for the tag @Antje77
I don't use Libre any more and never had an iPhone.
I used to use xDrip+ on my Android phone and have read that Shuggah is the equivalent on iPhone.

Like Diabox, the best place for information about xDrip+ is facebook. It is a closed group but they seem to let in everyone.
The Facebok account includes downloads (including the app because it is not available on the playstore) and seems to be supported by the developers.

@DEBBIESCOTT seems to use Shuggah so may be able to direct you to information about that.

Libre3 is not a direct replacement for the L2 and only prescribed by hospital under certain circumstances

You can order g6 and 7 from Dexcom.. you can also be prescribed the Dexcom one in place of the libre

This is super interesting.

I have had the same issue but I am struggling with how to test the Dexcom sensors. Do I just speak with my GP and state my worries and ask to try a Dexcom sensor?

You could phone Dexcom and see if they will send you a free test unit.. they did with my EX

I have a 10 day trial pack from Diabetes Nurse, so far so good

Decom one is working very well with X Drip. Very comfy fitting the sensor too
