My experience was that the Libre was good when it worked (I had two of three fail) and while it did read higher than my fingerprick tests, it was consistent. As my fingerprick tests still predict a consistently lower HbA1c than my actual HbA1c, it's all relative. It is close enough for practical use, It has error but so have many other monitoring devices.
