Looking for experience of using smart watches to measure CGM and recommendations for which is best supplier.

There are no mainstream manufacturers that make a watch that directly works with cgm.. However there arevwats to get bg readings on most mainstream watches incontuntion with a phone… So the best thing todo Is shortlistvwatches you like then research your options for those watches

I'm afraid I agree with @searley . Despite the advertising, if you look at the fine print all the current watches that claim to act as a stand alone cgms point out that you shouldn't use their results to make medical decisions. I wouldn't trust any of them, though there may be technology in the future that works.

l look forward to CGM in type 2 becoming more widely available. At present, i'm not able to access CGM or even glucose monitoring on prescription, which seems daft. i can't really see in real time how carb intake or exercise is regulating my sugar levels. i guess i could use the information to determine whether 1G Metformin daily is enough!
Apparently i have to wait until i'm on insulin.....
