Chamomile Tea

Can type 1 diabetics drink chamomile tea? I keep seeing that it lowers blood sugars which in some cases can be good but for type 1 diabetics that could be bad lol does anyone know?

If chamomile tea lowered blood glucose then it would solve a lot of problems, but somehow I doubt that the effect is all that useful.
