I found that Humalog acted about the same as NovoRapid for me, but everyone is different.

I only switched to NovoRapid because it's approved in the Tandem T:slim reservoir for 3 days, but Humalog is only approved for 2 days (at least here in Germany).

Have you already tried both Fiasp and Lyumjev?
Do you prebolus with Novorapid, and by how long?

I found Humalog worked slower than NovoSluggish for me.
But we are all different so I would try it out to find out how it works for you.
I now use Fiasp.

Fiasp affected my heart and is lyumjev a biosimilar of novorapid?

It's a (faster) version of humalog

That is a long wait but was your bg high when you injected? I find insulin takes longer to work if I start high...

It's not unlike what I see, even on Fiasp and when not starting out high.

The speed at which bolus kicks in seems to be dependent on my BG.
This is more obvious on Fiasp than it was on NovoRapid but it was still a feature of "fast acting" insulin.
With Fiasp
- if my BG is in the 4s or low 5s, Fiasp will work immediately. I have to bolus AFTER eating
- if my BG is between 5 and 10, Fiasp will take about 5 to 15 minutes
- if my BG is between 10 and 14, Fiasp will take about 30 minutes to work
- if my BG is 15 or over, I can expect something to happen after an hour
