Hi Everyone. Thank you for letting me join the forum.

I have been using the Libre 2 Continuous Blood Sugar Sensor. But it is costing me £100 per month. I don't have a lot of money, so I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for any cheaper ones.

Someone told me that there are Chinese one which cost only £6 (Yes, only six pounds) each. But, of course, I haven't been able to find them anywhere.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Logan

Hi @Logan Taylor and welcome to the forum. I think £6/sensor is probably a case of if it’s sounds too good to be true it probably is. I believe the Dexcom +1 is cheaper if bought on subscription. Just to be clear I don’t have experience of the Dexcom, I use the Libre 2 Plus.

I can't find any cheaper, but I find that now I've learned what most foods do to my bg that I don't need one continually.
These days I just wear one 2 or 3 times a year eg holidays and Christmas to remind me to stay on track.

@Logan Taylor what do you need it for?
