Tomatoes and cheese very tasty and if you want an egg or two. But I’m curious to know which is the right type of cheese either soft cheese or hard cheese. Like (Edam) for breakfast.

Ugh! Not Edam! IMHO the worst cheese in existence… not counting those slices of orange stuff the Americans like to call cheese ;)

Gouda, Cheddar, Cottage, Cambazola, Brie........

I'd agree with @Antje77! If I want breakfast, and if I want cheese, then I eat whatever (normal/full fat) cheese I fancy at the time.

Just because we eat a low carb or ketogenic style diet, there's no absolute rule which dictates what we eat or when. There may be recommendations as to what's considered suitable or best, but it's essentially a personal choice of foods that preferably keep us within our acceptable target glucose levels.

Go to Lidl and look at their continental cheeses.
Always a good selection.

Our all purpose cheese is Waitrose value strength 6 cheddar.
Surprisingly affordable and good to eat straight from the pack or use in cooking.

Don't forget the blue cheeses such as Stilton and Cambazola for that extra flavour.

Mmm...sorry, what was the question again?

Oh, and we have (especially on holiday) a Halumi moment.
Halumi fried in olive oil.
Raw onion and tomato salad drizzled with olive oil an optional extra.
Glass of white wine.

Cheese my mum use to say don’t eat it before bed it’ll give u nightmares we’ll bring those mares on baby, I love it cheese and onion toastie before bed hmm hmm extra mature cheddar canny beat it , but my two absolute favs are Camabert it tastes so good it’s got to be bad for u , and Stilton in cauliflower soup especially on cold dark night with plenty of black pepper , I remember I was told by an old craftsman when I was an apprentice that you only become a man if you can eat blue smelly cheese well I love all kind of cheese but smelly strong blue I’m still a boy

Hard cheeses tend to be lower carb than soft, and I’d avoid the fake stuff in tubes.

For anyone living near an Aldi, they have a lovely selection of British cheeses (and non-British of course) including some I haven't come across anywhere else.

The cheese (in moderation) for me would be nice together with an egg or two but the tomatoes would spike me, haven't touched them for ages now.
