chocolate taste

I have type 2 diabetes have had for a few years now however for the past week I've had the constant taste of chocolate in my mouth even when waking up and I've not been eating anything containing chocolate.

Any one got any ideas?
 
Maybe ketones???? Can you get hold of some urine testing strips to check?
