Have you all given up chocolate alltogether or do you have something every so often to deal with your sweet craving.? I have to admit to having a small chocolate wafer (dark choc) it says 14 carbs on it made by Ainsley Harriott, I find one of those or a couple of pieces of 70% aldi choc is not too bad for me. I have zero jelly and use cream and berries for sweets and sometimes low fat ice cream (just a scoop), believe it or not a slice of vienetta does not do anything drastic to me. I only take one 500mg metformin in the evening so cannot munch away at much as I am doing a relatively low carb thing (around 80ish carbs a day). Zero lemonade and tea and wine are my drinks. These are my bad things that keep me going on this diet :angel: I of course eat a lot of salad meat eggs fish and veg but it has to be interspersed with a bit of a treat once in a while for me anyway I have to sustain this for the rest of my life. What kind of treats do you indulge in foodwise?
