The last two years we have had huge slabs of good quality steak from our local butcher.
With green salad, fried onions and Stilton crumbled over.
About 15 mins in kitchen.
We have loved it so much we are considering doing it again.
Then my 15g carb/meal can be spent on half a mince pie.
With a LOT of extra thick double cream.![]()
We've had the steak with stilton and a beef joint with stilton slices put in.
We just load up with veg. This year pud is a delucious lemon souffle and cheese n biscuits to follow. May have chicken breast with stilton weapped in bacon for main meat.. Haven't decided the meat yet.
Boxing day is definitely fillet steak from our butcher with stilton crumbled over it...
My lemon souffle with home made non sugar lemon curd is less than 15g carb and fills a large ramekin. We (i) make 4 at a time with loads left over to enjoy licking the mixing bowl...used to have photos on phone to upload the pud picture, but got told off for having so many photos of my food on it!! Had to delete them to free up memory!!!
