I have been looking at circulation boosters and wondered if anyone else had any experience of them?

I get very cold feet and now I also have Raynauds which is to do with circulation in the extremities. As I sit here on this lovely warm day, my feet are frozen, yes Im wearing sandals but I don't really want to walk around in a lovely skirt with winter socks and boots!!

The cheapest booster I was looking at is more of a heated roller massage type thing. One of the reviews I looked at said it states its not suitable for diabetics. Im guessing this is due to the heat part, but as I still have full feeling in my feet figured it would still be ok for me?

If anyone has any experience or ideas please let me know.

Hi,Lenny3 :)

I have Raynauds in my fingers and so glad for this weather,
If you have to wear socks and boots until you get it sorted it may be better than suffering and making things worse. I am sure you can get things that look summery.
Has your GP suggested any recommendations that you can use, have you asked for their advice about boosters.
The trouble with a lot of gadgets is that they are more of a pain to set up and keep going wrong.

I know that you should try to keep your feet warm and I wish you all the best with the help you can get.

Do you get cold feet in bed, or do you have a plan of action to keep them from getting cold. (less body weight on legs etc;)

Roy. :)

HI I HAVE USED ONE OF THOSE IR HEATER WITH VIBRATION AS HAVE COLD FEET AND NUMB CALF ON LEFT CALF,TOLD MY Dr.ABOUT IT AND SHE SAID I SHOULDN'T USE AS MY ARTERIES ARE BIT IFFIE DUE TO ARTERIAL DESIESE. REGARDS RICHARD

I use the Revitive. It's OK as long as you don't have too high a voltage. but you have to use it regularly, say 30 mins per day. It is more covenient that getting a stiff long handled brush and washing your feet for ten or 15 mins in hot soapy water every day but to be honest, that would probably be just as good.

Bedsocks, comfy slippers, moisturising creams etc etc and general foot pampering is good medicine.
