Hi
My last blood test a few months ago showed ckd stage 3 egfr at 46. However I am experiencing vomiting, nausea and fatigue(new symptoms).
I plan to go to Emergency Department tomorrow as I’ve been feeling this for a few weeks and feeling so rotten and unwell.
And advice please

@Grant_Vicat has experience of CKD before his transplant so may be able to help?

I assume you've tested for ketones and ruled out DKA? (If that is a possibility then I would call 999 or 111 now).

Honestly, if you are going to A&E in the morning anyway it might be better to go now..... Especially of any of those symptoms are new...

Edited to add

Sorry you are feeling so unwell and sending virtual hugs from New Zealand.

Thanks for the tag @EllieM . Hi @diabetic23 years I'm sorry to hear about all your problems and the resulting anxiety. Do you know what your creatinine level is in your blood? The reason I ask is that I had 40 years of CKD which began when I was 15 (after 14 years Type1) and was slowed down simply by vastly improved blood glucose readings until a transplant in 2013 exactly 40 years after CKD was noted. Are you on any hypertension medication?
This is a good link:
At my last hospital visit my creatinine level had gone up to 128 (preferred level is 95) and egfr is 46.
I obviously cannot diagnose, but as @EllieM suggests, I would go to A&E straight away, taking all medical notes/reports with you. I would stress the nausea and vomiting. Personally I have taken myself to A&E and the word diabetes is a talisman as is CKD. Even if you have to bed down in a corridor, it is infinitely preferable to alternatives. Let us know how it goes. I wish you the best possible outcome.
