Wow amazing story, and great attitude.
I climbed Snowdon last weekend with the family and the dog, didn't quite work out with bg levels as was borderline hypo most of the way up despite eating copious amounts of wine gums, biscuits and glucotabs and no insulin on board, ate a huge sandwich and bag of crisps at the top, took 50% bolus and walked down with levels around 7 mmol/l, I can't imagine doing that continuously though, my legs were shot after that one despite running 2-3 times a week !!!
