Closed loop medication nightmare

Hi Fellow diabetics, Since going onto this my diet has gone virtually carb free . I have found that the only way I can keep in range most of the time is by eating nothing else other than carb free food....I cannot touch anything with flour in or pasta, rice potatoes, if I do then I suffer for hours , alarms ringing telling me Im high, I have to constantly give myself more insulin and it does nothing , it makes me very angry and down . Its so boring and really effecting my life in a lot of ways. Most of the time Im OK with it but there are other times Ive had enough and switch it all off just so I can have peace and sleep if its happening during the night time. Does anyone else have these issues with closed loop medication ?

Also I have other things that raise my blood readings, the smell of food sometimes raises it and dreaming. I can go to bed not having anything to eat for 5 to 6 hours and 3 to 4 hours later when Im asleep my bloods raise and then sometime the alarm is waking up the house ....so annoying, I then have to give myself ghost insulin just so the alarm will stop ....most of the time I still wake up high around 12 but not high enough to set off the alarms. Does anyone else have this issue ?
