Clothes, Phone And Diabetic Equipment Found On A Walk.

A friend found this on a walk today and asked if I could post on a diabetic forum.

'Hill-find weirdness. While slogging up Blue Gill on Frosswick this afternoon, I found a pile of clothes, wet and chewed by animals, next to a wrecked looking rucksack and scattered diabetes paraphenalia, as if someone had had a really nasty hypo in a very awkward spot. There was also an iPhone lying in the gill, currently drying out on my radiator. Long shot I know, but if anyone wants to share on a fellwalking forum or diabetic forum it might be possible to reunite the owner with their stuff.'

Has your friend rung the local hospitals to see if they’ve had any diabetics through Casualty today?

Have they informed police as well? Could you or friend also post this on local facebook groups? Preferably with pictures of the rucksack. Pile of clothes + rucksack + diabetes stuff sounds pretty alarming to me.

He's following up all other avenues, this is just one of them.

Yes he's doing all of this.

He's an experienced sensible man and has followed all the avenues he can, including police and fellwalking sites.

Indeed he searched the bottom of the gully and has followed all avenues incl. police.

Update, the mountain rescue team apparently rescued the owner of the clothes successfully, six months ago. My friend still has the phone that was left at the site.
