I love coconut water and was wondering if the lidl brand is acceptable for a T2 person.

Can I have your opinions

Thanks. 20210513_104216.jpg

We are all different and can tolerate different food and drink. What you really want to know is if YOU can drink it and the only way to find out is to test.
Test, drink and test 2 hours later.

As someone with Type 1 (different to type 2), I would definitely need to take insulin for a glass of that.

The give away is in the ingredients - I've been spoilt by real fresh juice in SE Asia - don't see why sucrose is needed...

I love coconut water as well, I used to drink this ever day it's full of good minerals but so many carbs OMG you have to check if it spike your BS, for me it does so I can't take it ...

Ugh, just looked at the carbs per serving. Anyway it doesn’t spike me and I drink it a lot, as well as the almond milk by the same brand
Are you still in Singapore? You should be able to get raw coconuts without horrible mileage to cut open for actual fresh juice as opposed to a processed version. Never tried almond milk, but can't get my head around the excessive water required to grow these nuts. Apologies going a little off topic.

Yes, I prefer fresh.
