My feet are always frozen, but not to the touch, they just feel cold to me, and when tested my sensing is fine and my blood pressure/blood tests all come back OK, even with slippers and 2 pairs of socks on they are cold, any ideas?

I suffer from my wife's solution to her cold feet problem :(

let me guess

she sticks em on your back in bed?

Only on my legs - I lie on my back.

There is a lovely scene in the Inuit film "The Savage Innocents" where the husband comes in frozen, & puts his feet up his wife's top. A shiver went right round the cinema :!:

thing is my feet wouldnt feel cold to the wife, its just me that thinks they are cold....

hers are blocks of ice though, so i know what you mean

I too suffer from cold feet. I find that if I put a blanket over my feet they warm up - not an answer if you are on the bus but ok in the house.

Regards Val

My feet have been icy cold since childhood!!Funny thing is I don't feel them cold unless I put a foot on my own leg! Very handy for getting husband to move rapidly across bed though!(in the opposite direction :D )

Hi Stevie,

Sounds like you could be losing some sensitivity in your feet. Just to be on the safe side I would have them checked by a chiropodist for signs of diabetic neuropathy. If your GP surgery runs a diabetic clinic then they probably have a chiropodist attached to the clinic. If you don't know a chiropodist in your area, ask your local chemists - they will generally know who the best ones are.

Hi all. Newbie on site.
I too suffer from cold feet, and I have been told my circulation, foot pulses and sensitivity are all fine. Just have to invest in a fleecy blanket I guess :?
