A Red i take it?

Neither - Merseyside is massive and I'm borderline woolly back

I like that view too!

I'm a red, but I don't let that limit me.
If it's not a derby, I'll put Merseyside before the rest!

@nosher8355 and @MellitusTrap - I loved The Liver Birds. (Same creator - Carla Lane - I see in wikipedia.)

(See Mellitus - if we had been sitting next to each other on a plane we could've talked TV ;))

(And all three of us would have noticed the special food items brought onboard!)

Go Liverpool! Yay!

A flask of scouse, no spuds of course!

Agreed on all counts!
We could add my laughable grasp of Swedish to that list.
I did the Stockholm half marathon years ago and that is one good looking city.

Hej dor

I just google map searched Aotearoa - probably the most interesting learning point I had today.

:). Had our own rather beautiful word for our country before the Dutch and the Brits came. Still do! The words for the north and the south island are just as lovely. The first time I saw Zeeland, the original one, out of a plane window, I was stunned that anyone would think to re-name Aotearoa after such a flat, highly populated place. Not a lot in common. People do strange things when feeling homesick and taking over countries.

Yes! Stockholm is really beautiful. (But not in March, and in November IMO.) And the language is beautiful to boot. The human specimens aren't too shabby either ;).

Maybe coming from an industrial area like Merseyside, we appreciate beautiful areas more!

I love the Lake district! And there is nothing better than hiking in the mountains on a beautiful summer day!

I loved the Ionian islands in Greece for its natural undisturbed beauty.
