@Jaylee It cheered me up too! And warmed my heart
. . . . . stop the Covid-19 outbreak
Great post @Broomthebeast
I’ve posted on my local page asking if anyone self isolating needs anything - also asked neighbours to check on their elderly neighbours too and to drop a card through their door with contact details on.
We need to look after each other right now.
Hi @Broomthebeast ,
Just when I was thinking this forum was turning into "COVID.CO.UK."
My faith has been restored with your topic..
This could be a tempary use for "food banks?" Some folk will be on statatury sick pay whilst housebound.? & that's just for starters.
I'll be frank, there's only so many roundabout ways anyone can ask "what about me & my D."
There are some clear statistics on who this virus is killing & there is some clear definition of the symptoms (which can be confused with seasonal onset of colds & flu.)
About time there was kind, instead of blinkered & blind.
Sure your joking, and a nice thread,
but IF the topics do bother you,
they are not mandatory to read.
i would not wish to see the items of information disappear,
as, for many the idea of just trusting the "govt know best",
isn't really filling me with confidence , if i'm honest
not doing a great job so far.
threads a nice idea,
i'll step away now so as not to derail it.
But please lets not diminish the real fear and worries,
by turning on each other.
Daughters just called 111, has a mild cough, high temperature, and a sore throat,
been advised to self isolate for 7 days..
sure she's fine and it's just good sense,
but still that little worry is at the back of our minds.
Love &
peace.
A bit like this forum then?As I understand it, the app connects you to random people anywhere in the world
I think it's different - writing is not the same as talking...A bit like this forum then?
Cheers @Jaylee
sorry to hear of the missed gig,
but probably, best all round.
nice to hear it all went so well,
and your almost recovered.
we all do whats best for us.
glad yours is working out for you.
Ours is working well for us to.
Long may it last for all of us..
Namaste to you to.
Hey!
I cancelled christmas with the inlaws many years ago.. One had a long term heart condition the other was battling cancer.
I actually had flu, despite a jab two months earlier..
Once fine, a date was set for Easter..
The gigs? Hmmm, got an idea for that.. "Live streaming" maybe the way forward..?
Life still must go on.
This one lady had bought some kitchen roll and said she was cutting the roll in half with a bread knife.
