Comparing carb content of multiple products.

Does anyone know of a website or app that will allow you to see the carb values of multiple products at once or which can export the information to a spreadsheet?

There are a number of websites and apps that I come across that will show this information but only for one product at a time and it takes lots of tedious clicking and scrolling to find the information when comparing products.

For example, I have recently being gifted a Tassimo coffee machine and it would be nice to know the carb content of all the available pods. But there are about 80 of them and the carb content can range from 0.1 to over 20g !

Asda's website has an option to sort the search results by carb content, but unfortunately it does not seem to work properly (for example https://groceries.asda.com/search/tassimo/products?sort=carbohydrate+asc shows Kenco 100% Colombian after Kenco Flat White, which is obviously wrong) so you really have to open each product separately to check.

And if you want to try find the bread with the lowest carb content, you will find a lot of products which don't say what the carb content is!

I use the app called Nutracheck it has a very good search facility. All the Tassimo pods are on there.

Calorie Counter + by Nutracheck is one I looked at, but unless I am missing something is not exactly easy.

I don't see any way to sort the results or to export them. So in order to get the details I want I need to open each product individually and then copy the name and value to a spreadsheet.

Also the search seems to be restricted to 50 results which means that searching for Tassimo does not show all the results.

That’s a shame, it doesn’t meet your needs. I used it a lot when first diagnosed to learn carb counts.

Cronometer, you have to put all items in but then Kerser will give you total carb count. If any help.

I second what Filly said. It's very good, you can pay a smallish amount for the Premium version but so far the basic one supplies my needs. I use Cronometer through a browser on my laptop without a problem, tho' I understand the app is quite clunky, I've never used the app so I couldn't confirm. It also appears to use many databases including those in the UK and EU. I love the fact that it tells me the breakdown such as minerals, vitamins, calories and micronutrients of each day's food, each meal, down to an ingredients breakdown. It's very easy to add food to a custom recipe for calculating the nutritious content of your meal. I seriously wouldn't be without it.
