- Customer helplines that use recorded menus that promise to put me through to the right person but never do - and being ill. Oh, and did I mention customer helplines :)
All diabetics are entitled to ask for a referral to a Specialist Hospital Diabetes Unit to be seen under the care of an Endocrinologist, that doesnt mean you will be seen by an Endo but you will be seen by a DSN working under one.
Ask your doctor for a referral :thumbup: You may be told that wont be possible for cost reasons or whatever but still ask saying that you are not happy with your treatment plan or lack of one.

:shock: :? :x :evil: :crazy:Have had issues in the past although not to do with diabetes. However I went to the PALS office and they did sort the problem and quite quickly as well. They just go directly to department concerned and talk about the problems so nothing is "official" and people don't get defensive. Worth a try I think.
