Hi friends, I posted before about suspicions of my disregulated blood glucose.
I was working on getting a diagnosis, which resulted in antibodies being negative. Another endo did some tests
and that resulted in normal levels. After this, and reassurances it is not diabetes, I was working on seeing if things
change by eating lots of vegetables, meats, fats. Something that keeps BGs below 6.7 or so. I was also sent to
psychiatrist and and prescribed some mood-altering drugs. Also tried to get into exercising again and was doing okay.
Usually my meals are protein and fat rich with some carbs but very little. I kept tabs on my BGs which usually stayed
in 5.x range when eating such foods. However, yesterday after the run was different and I had some of my old symptoms
come back: heart racing, sweating and BGs going over 6 with same meals. Dizziness as well.
I know it does not seem too bad but I always get a severe headache after a meal and feel drowsy, just like in January.
Should I be concerned about that? I already visited two endos who think it is not an issue but it literally switches me off: my brain becomes foggy and I cannot concentrate at work.
