An awful lot.
Yesterday l had 2 scrambled eggs for breakfast.

We went shopping and l had a stumble (run)
Coffee with cream then loaded the kayaks and went off to launch and paddle

About 20mins out on the water we had lunch.
For me 1 avocardo about 30gram total tuna/cheese/onion fine chopped in a mix topped off with a low carb rocky road.

About 3hrs later 1 more rocky road (again about 33gram weight)

Finaly back reload kayaks set off home...see pub we eat at stagger in do my bloods 6.3 (figure liver dump) my first drink since my morning coffee a fizzy water
l know l ate and drank very badly had items just never bothered :-(

Meal beef in red wine sauce a couple slices mushroom and small silverskin onion in it. 1 tablespoon peas. Leave soon as end eating

Home 5mins later coffee with 3tsp cream about 40mins later 250ml milk with protein powder.

Bloods at 2hrs post meal l know they will be high..

floored me 5.3

Why when l ate so badly poured in a load of food and milk etc was my bloids so low? l am happy but confused?

I can't see where you were eating badly. Are you just saying you feel naughty since you enjoyed it?

PS. I don't know what a rocky road is..

l should have had more fluid l paid for that with head ache later in evening.

And for 4.5hrs hard graft with the paddle l didnt eat enough hence 6.3 on bloods am sure liver dumped and snarled at me "You idiot what was l meant to do it you dont eat sensibly"

Love that stuff !

a 5.3 and 6.3 are not low in my book.............there great.........

are you normally used to higher numbers........?

you seemed to be very active that day and so your blood sugars would of been lower than normal, or in this case, spot on.........

No for me 6.3 is high as l ate so little did so much excercise l figure as l say liver dump.

l figured as it was so high pre meal then post a large meal and glass of milk the bloods would be 7+ l was resigned to it

To see it at 5.3 floored me they were back to my normal

If you're worrying over a 6.3 reading, you need to step back, and re-assess how much time and effect you are putting into controlling your blood sugar. It is certainly important, but a 6.3 is a good figure, and nothing to beat yourself up for.
Even if I'd done the same exercise, and eaten my usual oat so simple, I'd be more than happy, not regretting I've eaten a too high GI snack.

Not worrying as l say knew why it went high... l was confused about it then going low and not higher my blood had no right to confuse me more  So l was trying to understand the mechanism of it and as l say l sort of see what NRBoi is saying. Today has been a rest day anyhow l have double whammy tomorrow PT in the morning before work Running Inst after work.

If you exercise it will go up as your body tries to compensate. If you low carb though, the liver dump is normally very short lived, (as you don't eat any excess carbs you can store, so you're making all your glucose) so once the short liver dump has happened, you do fall quickly.
As you know, I don't low carb, but portion control, and even then, by the fact I may not have eaten for a while as well, then done a high impact exercise, my bs can drop as the liver dump can't keep up.
