Confused by new forums

I've not posted for a while but in coming back , all my previous posts have disappeared and with all the new forums , I can't find all the people I used to talk to as I presume they are scattered through the different groups. If my previous posts were there I could at least get their names etc.
Any idea why my previous posts have disappeared?

Also my picture has disappeared and it says newbie which I'm not !
 
Everything was the same except I changed my password .Only posted a few weeks ago and now all my posts for the last year have gone.

Silly question but are you sure your posts weren't on the Diabetes UK forum? Here:

There's someone with a similar name to you there.

Your posts wouldn't have disappeared here like that and this forum has looked the same for a long time and not changed recently.
 
This was the only one I used , well I thought so and my username is right on here. Will check the other boards, thanks

Your username here only shows 5 posts I've checked for you and there's no disappeared posts here. Even if you'd not logged in for a couple of years, your posts would still be here. Your join date here is April last year but my guess is that most of your posts since then were made on the Diabetes UK forum which is not connected to this forum.

In fact, your first post there was on the same day you joined this forum so I'm pretty confident that's what's happened.

Ruth_K - At one point last year the forum was down for a day or so, and it took quite a while to recover a load of data. The only thing I might speculate (and it is pure speculation) is that your data and account got swept up in some of that, somehow.

I'll ask the techies to have a look into this and see if they can provide us with any feedback. Bearing in mind it's a Saturday I wouldn't expect to hear anything until Monday at the absolutely earliest.
 
The account is still here @AndBreathe It seems the 'lost' posts may be on the DUK forum.

Names and dates confirm that's a likely scenario.
 
Welcome back anyway @Ruth_K . What have you been up to? Too busy for forum chat?
Did you used to post your fasting bgs on a morning?

When you came on here most recently, did you have to sign up, or did you just put in your user name and password?
