I have recently seen my bs as high as 24.0, I have not done much to make a difference now play golf 2/3 times a week, bs now down as low as 4.4 low high 8.0.
Think is now I feel like I have been just diagnosed tired all the time feeling unwell and have thirst back like it was in November when I was told I was type 2

Any thoughts.

Thanks Jim....

Hi Jim,
welcome
@daisy will be along to give you an overview shortly, in the meantime lot of people will be able to give you some help. its useful if you can set the ball rolling by letting us know what drugs if any you have been prescribed and what is your diet ( in as much detail as you can manage - eg bread, pasta, rice , cakes, refined products - ( all of which need to come down) compared to real foods.

Thanks been on here a few times in the last 10 months since being told I was t2d.
Probs about 100 - 120 carbs per day
met 1000mg x 2 glic 80mg x 2

Although we are all different and you are taking exercise, your carb intake is twice what I could ever manage and have single figure BG levels.
I have read that the Gliclazide forces insulin into your blood, but it can be erratic, so you can have lows and highs due to that -so care needs to be taken if you do reduce the carbs, or miss a meal, as you can go low.
I found that it was the rapid changes in BG which made me feel unwell - I tested a few of the foods which caused weight gain and found they were exactly those which caused my BG to alter quickly, though in my case it was upwards at a great rate and down again painfully slowly.
