Depends.
Being tired all the time can be a result of the mental burden of diabetes, or it can be a result of high or wildly fluctuating blood glucose.
Do any of those apply?

Apart from that, there are about a thousand other possible causes of being overly tired, which may not be related to diabetes at all.
If you can't pinpoint a clear cause like high BG or diabetes burnout, a MOT seems like a very good idea!

And if you think the cause is related to your diabetes management, either physically or mentally, you might want to seek help from your diabetes team to see how things can be improved.

How is your BG across the day?

Running high (or too low) for long periods in a day can make you feel exhausted.

The HbA1c figure doesn't give the true picture, its more about how your BG is across the whole day (rather than an average)

Yes get your bloods checked, there's many other issues such as iron levels, thyroid etc that can affect t1d's and easily get overlooked,

Agree the mental strain of daily management can also impact energy, but best to see a GP first.

I'm just into my 7th year and can categorically say it's had a huge impact on my energy levels. I suppose it's only to be expected given we can't replicate all those tiny adjustments our bodies used to do but I find it very depressing.
