My surgery has told me that diabetic nurse consultations will now be 12 months.This seems to me to be more money pinching.

Hi,

If you are Type 2 this is quite normal once the nurse considers your levels are consistently good and your medication (if any) is correct for your circumstances.

As @Bluetit1802 says this is what we can expect once we are under control.
That does not mean that you cannot contact your surgery if you have any diabetes related problems and this rule is not set in stone.

I was on 12 month appointments when stable and on tablets. I'm now on 6 months stable but on insulin.
