Cortisol can cause T2D, can it also cause R.H.?
It looks as though I could have Connshing syndrome. Just google for Birmingham uni's recent studies. D.

Could you kindly clarify for me - is the syndrome Conn's or Cushing's? Thanks

I will get back to you!
I've never come across this theory as one of the causes of RH!
But who knows? There hasn't been an awful lot of study or research into RH!

Fascinating! Thank you for mentioning this.

I was checked out for Cushings, years ago. Results were negative, and they then went on to find something else.

The only certainty about hormones, is that the more you find out, the more complex they are.

It is possibly both, the adrenal tumour can be producing both aldosterone and cortisol. The cortisol in this case is not controlled by the pituitary gland. I shall have to get my cortisol checked because I have Conn's and T2D. regards D.
