Hi all,

I have been considering breast augmentation for a few years and I was wondering if any type 1's have had this done? Did you encounter any problems with healing etc? My control is very good and I am totally healthy otherwise, but I know there may be some risks involved.

Hello @Miss90 I have not come across any type 1's who have undergone this procedure, however any concerns you have should be addressed directly to the medical team involved. As you say if your control is very good then there should be minimal impact on the healing process, but as with any medical procedure it is the risk of potential infection which may be a concern.
