I get occasional cramps in my feet, is this different to the tingling and pins/needles feeling that can be symptomatic of diabetes?

This is not even painful but more of a cramp feeling usually after I've been sitting or lying the same place for quite a while. It usually then disappears within minutes if not seconds.

Is you blood sugar out of control?ALA 300 mg has helped me ,also a foot massager manual or electric ( like Dr Ho’s can help J
Those symptoms have all but disappeared,

Have you recently started a low carb diet? I found I was getting nasty cramps in my feet and ankles after I started low carbing. It was suggested on here that it may be magnesium deficiency. I bought magnesium spray and apply it to my feet and ankles before I go to bed. Magnesium is apparently absorbed better through the skin than orally. I very very rarely get cramps now.

Did you mean ASA or should that be ALA? aka Alpha Lipoic Acid?

I was wondering what the Advertising Standards Authority has to do with it?!

A good long bath with Epsom Salts is the transitional solution, as Epson Salts contains Magnesium.
